Internet based marketing
At PAK Communications we are fully convinced of the value of the internet as a marketing tool.
Having heard of an organisation, one of the first things I do is to check out their website. This usually tells me whether they have the type of product I want, whether it is worth getting in the car and visiting them, or if I should telephone (and what the telephone number is). It also tells me whether that organisation is professional enough to gain my custom.
A badly designed website, or one clearly produced by someone who doesn't understand navigation, can be the ultimate 'put-off', as can one where the content talks about last year's special offer or events. It is very difficult to keep a website up to date and people are usually forgiving of a week old event or offer, but any longer than that....?
So, this means that when you first set up your site you need to consider how you are going to keep it current and vibrant.
Ask yourself some questions
- Is your website the best shop window you could have, or are you wasting an opportunity?
- How much information is enough?
- How can you get customers to return to your site?
- How can you gather information about your customers using the site?
- How can your site generate income?
Email marketing
Here is an interesting topic. How do you get around the SPAM label? Do you know how the law stands regarding permissions now? This is an area of marketing that is ever changing and has the potential to generate revenue immediately. It also has the ability to turn customers off and and away from your product forever. For advice on this please call us, we will be pleased to talk to you about this lucrative, but potentially risky, strategy.
